Southern Recreational Public Meeting Oct. 6 in Vero Beach

PALATKA, Fla., Oct. 4, 2021 — A land management update and the Upper St. Johns River Basin project are among the items to be discussed Oct. 6 during the St. Johns River Water Management District’s Southern Recreational Public Meeting. District staff will receive comments from the public during the meeting and comments may also be emailed to SouthernRecreationComments@sjrwmd.com.

The southern recreational area includes District properties in Brevard and Indian River counties. The public will have an opportunity at this meeting to provide input on recreational topics involving District lands.
