Welcome

Every year, more than 32 million pounds of nutrient pollution enter the St. Johns River. That’s the equivalent of more than 500 full dump trucks.

The river’s delicate balance has been upset by human activity. Who is responsible? We all are. We cause the damage unintentionally through our everyday behaviors at home, in our yards, in our neighborhoods, and at our jobs.

Everyone is responsible for the river’s decline. And everyone’s participation is necessary to return the St. Johns River to good health.

Learn more about the sources of pollution and how you can help to make the St. Johns healthier for ourselves now and to protect the river for future generations.
