A commercial real estate broker and developer, Albright was appointed March 5, 1999, to a four-year term and was reappointed in March 2003 to a term that ended July 23, 2007. He represented the Ocklawaha River and Florida Ridge basins on the Governing Board. Albright served as the Board’s secretary from Nov. 13, 2001, to Nov. 8, 2005. Albright was born in Orlando and graduated from Lake Weir High School in Marion County. Albright has several years of government experience at state and local levels — he served on the Marion County Zoning Commission; and has assisted with land purchases for the Office of Greenways and Trails and other private and public agencies.
