Water monitoring atlas

This atlas describes the locations and types of monitoring conducted by the St. Johns River Water Management District.

To assess the quality and quantity of water in the District, the District operates and maintains a network of stations to monitor river, lake and groundwater levels; river discharge; rainfall, and surface and groundwater quality conditions. The network monitors short- and long-term trends used in forecasting future water quantity and quality conditions. Data from the network supports a variety of functions, including consumptive use permitting, water supply projects, watershed planning and management projects, and the development of minimum flows and levels.
