Recreation and land
Through its efforts to protect water resources, the St. Johns River Water Management District buys and manages lands. As a result, plants and animals that live on these lands are also protected and the public can enjoy recreational and educational activities in the great outdoors. In this section, you’ll find information about recreational opportunities and how the District manages public lands.
