Overview

The St. Johns River Water Management District’s speakers’ bureau provides individuals and groups in the District with personal presentations to enhance understanding of the District’s mission, programs and projects. Topics are varied and include presentations on administrative subjects, general water conservation, the District’s budgeting, comprehensive planning, permitting, land management activities, general District overview, waterway restoration projects, water resource education and waterwise landscaping.

Scheduling a speaker

To arrange a speaker for your group, use one of the methods below to contact us. When contacting us, we will need to know the following:

• Name of your organization
• Meeting time and date for which you will need a speaker
• Number of people you expect to attend
• Amount of time the speaker will be expected to fill
• Topic you want covered by the speaker
• Specific driving directions to your meeting location
• Daytime telephone number so that we may contact you to confirm scheduling
• A list of what audiovisual equipment is available for the speaker to use

The District may not be able to supply a speaker on short notice, so please plan to give us about two weeks or more for scheduling.

The District can respond only to those requests from groups located in the 18-county service area of the District in Florida.
