District cost-share funding

The St. Johns River Water Management District offers several cost-sharing programs throughout the year for projects that assist in creating sustainable water resources, provide flood protection and enhance conservation efforts. Funding may be available for local governments, agricultural interests and other entities.

Cost-share program

This program is funded through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection using grants from the Alternative Water Supply and Spring Restoration Programs. Applications are open for projects that benefit a spring, provides an alternative water supply or benefits water conservation.

Agricultural cost-share

The District’s agricultural cost-share program seeks to engage farmers, growers and ranchers in shared goals of water conservation and reduction of nutrient run-off.

The District has awarded cost-share funding to assist local communities construct projects that have benefited one of the District’s core missions.
