Upper Ocklawaha River Basin public workshop on Feb. 3 and Feb. 4

MAITLAND, Fla., Jan. 21, 2016 –The St. Johns River Water Management District is hosting a two-day public workshop to discuss comments received on the Upper Ocklawaha River Basin hydrologic model. The workshop is being held Feb. 3 and Feb. 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the district’s Maitland Service Center. The purpose of this workshop is to:

Facilitate discussion of the model by the peer review panel and district staff;Receive stakeholder input;Provide guidance on the model to the district; and Set a path forward for finishing the review.

Public comment on the model will be accepted during the workshop. Additional information about the workshop is available on the district’s website at www.sjrwmd.com/othermeetings.
