MAITLAND, Fla., July 21, 2017 — A 120-acre wildfire reported at Seminole Ranch Conservation Area on July 20 is fully contained.

The lightning-ignited wildfire was located in a marshy area located on the east side of the property, south of Hatbill Road. The fire was not located near any residences.

District crews worked with the Florida Forest Service to contain the wildfire by strategically burning the surrounding area, causing the fire to burn out more quickly.

This is the final update on this fire.
