Emeralda Marsh Conservation AreaMAITLAND, Fla., Feb. 14, 2019 – The seasonal wildlife drive at the St. Johns River Water Management District’s Emeralda Marsh Conservation Area will reopen this week.

WHAT:  Wildlife drive opening

WHEN:  Feb. 15 at 8 a.m.

WHERE: Emeralda Marsh Conservation Area • 36645 Emeralda Island Road • Leesburg, FL 34788

The seasonal drive is open to vehicular access from 8 a.m. to sunset starting the third weekend in February through the end of May on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The Emeralda Marsh Conservation Area is actively managed for the continued restoration of the water resources of Lake Griffin and the Ocklawaha River. For more information about recreation on district lands visit www.sjrwmd.com.
