St. Johns River Water Management District taking steps to impede spread of COVID-19

PALATKA, Fla., March 17, 2020 — The St. Johns River Water Management District is taking steps to reduce the potential transmission of COVID-19 and protect the health and safety of its staff and the public. Effective today, all office locations will be open only to employees. Visit www.sjrwmd.com for important contact information.

Staff will remain available by phone or email during regular office hours to conduct district business, answer questions and work to help ensure that water resource protection projects can stay on track.

Permit applications, compliance forms and other regulatory information can be found online through the district’s e-Permitting webpage, www.sjrwmd.com/permitting/.

Gov. Ron DeSantis has issued Executive Order 20-52 declaring a State of Emergency for COVID-19.
