District Governing Board to meet May 12 through public teleconference

PALATKA, Fla., May 8, 2020 — Following Gov. Ron DeSantis’ directions to limit the size of public gatherings and practice social distancing to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the St. Johns River Water Management District Governing Board will hold its regular monthly meeting on May 12 through teleconference. The public may view the board meeting online and offer comment by phone.

WHEN:         10 a.m., Tuesday, May 12, 2020

HOW:            To view the May board meeting via streaming broadcast, visit www.sjrwmd.com/may-streaming/. The live video feed begins approximately five minutes before the scheduled meeting time.

To offer public comment on a board item, call 386-329‑4500 or toll-free at 800-451‑7106. District staff will guide callers through the process to have their comments heard by the Governing Board. Submitted comments become part of the official record of the meeting.

Our phone lines are open to take public comment from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through the conclusion of the Governing Board meeting on Tuesday, May 12.
