District Governing Board to meet through public teleconference Aug. 11

PALATKA, Fla., Aug. 4, 2020 — Following Gov. Ron DeSantis’ directions to limit the size of public gatherings and practice social distancing to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the St. Johns River Water Management District Governing Board will hold its regular monthly meeting on Aug. 11 via teleconference with limited in-person attendance by board members and essential staff. The public is invited to view the board meeting online and offer comment by phone.

HOW:          To view the board meeting via streaming broadcast, visit www.sjrwmd.com/august-streaming. The live video feed begins approximately five minutes before the scheduled meeting time.

To offer public comment on a board action, call 386-329‑4500 or toll-free at 800-451‑7106 Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. District staff will guide callers through the process to have their comments heard by the Governing Board. Submitted comments become part of the official record of the meeting.
