PALATKA, Fla., March 15, 2024 ― Demonstrating its support for the contributions of government finance professionals, the St. Johns River Water Management District Governing Board proudly announces the adoption of a proclamation in honor of Government Finance Professionals Week.

This initiative is sponsored by the Florida Government Finance Officers Association (FGFOA), a professional association founded in 1937, serving more than 3,300 professionals across various sectors, including state, county, and city governments, school districts, colleges and universities, special districts and private firms.

Adopting the proclamation recognizes the dedication, hard work and leadership exemplified by government finance professionals throughout the District and highlights the key role they play in ensuring its financial health and stability.
