Portion of Fellsmere Water Management Area Temporarily Closed

Due to elevated water levels, a portion of Fellsmere Water Management Area west of the Headwaters Boat Ramp entrance is temporarily closed until further notice.
The Headwaters Boat Ramp remains open and accessible to visitors.
However, this closure blocks access to T.M. Goodwin Waterfowl Management Area and Fellsmere Grade Recreation Area (Stick Marsh) through Fellsmere Water Management Area. The closure is necessary to protect public safety. District staff will continue to monitor conditions and reopen the area when it is safe to do so.
Visitors should obey all posted closure signs and barriers. Updates will be provided as conditions change.
