Meet H2O Hero Billy Mayo!

As owner of Gator Nation Irrigation, Billy has spent more than 30 years in the irrigation industry. After learning about water-saving opportunities through Alachua County’s Irrigation Level-Up Rebate Program nearly a decade ago, he began helping property owners upgrade irrigation systems to reduce water waste and lower utility costs.

Today, Billy works with HOAs and communities on a large scale to identify inefficiencies and improve irrigation practices. In one community alone, his expertise helped uncover irrigation that was watering an unnecessary area, resulting in about $8,000 in annual savings.
