Monitoring of sinkhole development in the St. Johns River Water Management District
The St. Johns River Water Management District initiated a project to update a sinkhole database to include sinkholes that had occurred since 1992 and to make initial evaluations of sinkhole occurrences throughout the district. This report does this and expands on a database that documents sinkholes from 1984 to 1992 that was compiled by the Florida Sinkhole Research Institute at the University of Central Florida.
