Step into nature’s playground at Pellicer Creek Conservation Area

A trail winds through Pellicer Creek Conservation Area, a property that protects water resources in Flagler County.
Spanning 2,535 acres in Flagler County, Pellicer Creek Conservation Area invites visitors to explore and enjoy Florida’s natural beauty. A haven for biodiversity, the District property protects approximately eight miles of Pellicer Creek’s shoreline, improving water quality and supporting an array of wildlife.
Visitors can explore the conservation area’s extensive trail network, which connects to nearby places of interest including Princess Place Preserve and the Florida Agricultural Museum. Whether you enjoy hiking, biking or horseback riding, the trails offer a chance to connect with nature. For those interested in fishing, an accessible dock offers the perfect spot on Pellicer Pond.
“One of my favorite features is the land bridge on the west side,” says North Region Land Manager Tyler Mosteller. “It crosses over Interstate 95 and connects you to the Florida Agricultural Museum. You can even cross on horseback; there aren’t many places you can do that.”
For those eager to explore the area by water, Pellicer Creek is an ideal place for paddling or boating. Public boat ramps at Flagler County’s boat launch and Faver-Dykes State Park make it easy to get on the water and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
