Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive Closure

Contract work on Lust Road will start May 27 and is estimated to be completed by the end of July. During this time, the Lust Road pedestrian gate, Lust Road, and the Conrad Road gate will be closed.
The Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive will be temporarily closed the weekend of Sept. 12-14, to complete slope-stabilization work along sections of the drive. This closure is necessary to ensure public safety. The Lake Apopka Loop Trail will remain open to pedestrians and bicycles and is not affected by the construction activity.
