Several areas around Lake Apopka North Shore will have temporary closures as construction and improvement work continues.

Lake Apopka Loop Trail Closure: Laughlin Road to the Limpkin Point Kiosk

  • Monday through Thursday
  • Expected duration: Up to two months

Flow-Way Pump Basin Area The road immediately east of the Flow-Way Pump Basin will be closed for construction

  • The road west of the pump basin will remain open.
  • The portion of the Lake Apopka Loop Trail immediately north of the pump basin will remain open, but users should exercise caution.
  • September 28 through October 23

Good news: The Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive remains open and unaffected.
