Seasonal interpretive drive at Emeralda Marsh Conservation Area opens Feb. 20

Emeralda Marsh Conservation Area is actively managed for the continued restoration of the water resources of Lake Griffin and the Ocklawaha River. Land management activities in the marsh areas focus on the restoration and enhancement of natural communities.
The seasonal interpretive drive offers visitors an opportunity to see the District’s restoration work firsthand, enjoy scenic views and observe wildlife from the comfort of their vehicle. Additional amenities include a boat launch, open during daylight hours, and an observation platform that provides expansive views of the marsh.
