The St. Johns River Water Management District announces a public hearing for the Turnbull Hammock Conservation Area, located in Edgewater, FL. The hearing is scheduled for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2026, and will be held at the Edgewater Public Library, 103 W Indian River Blvd, Edgewater, FL 32132. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comment regarding the development of the 10-year Land Management Plan update for the Conservation Area.

Comments may be provided in person or in writing during the public hearing. Written comments may also be submitted in advance by mail to P.O. Box 1429, Palatka, FL 32178-1429, Attn: Chris Kinslow, or by email to ckinslow@sjrwmd.com.

To ensure consideration prior to the hearing, mailed comments should be received by the District before the date of the public hearing.
